DO YOU PROVIDE ONLINE CLASSES?
Beginning in August we will hold a weekly live online class for the Semester 1 Set. Classes will be on Thursdays at 8:30 am PST and will be accessible via zoom.
DO YOU PROVIDE CURRICULUM/KIT SAMPLES?
We will provide a free curriculum and material sample kit for you to evaluate before you purchase (available in June). Our Handmade Clock Kit is available as a sample and can be found in the Extra Materials, Supplies and Curriculum section.
HOW CAN I BEST INTEGRATE THIS PROGRAM FOR MY CO-OP?
Kitoodle Creators is well-suited for co-op enrichment programs. The projects require problem-solving and prompt creative brainstorming and are fun to work on in groups. There are many opportunities for collaborative effort and group discussions.
The teacher of the group would purchase a Teacher Semester Set, which includes the curriculum for each project PLUS materials for each of the projects for demonstration. The students would purchase a Student Set. If you are in a co-op, reach out to us for a co-op discount for your group!
I HAVE ONLY ONE CHILD THAT I AM HOMESCHOOLING. WHAT SHOULD I PURCHASE?
If you are teaching one child, you will need to purchase the Teacher Semester Set. This set includes all the curriculum you will need to teach your child the lessons and supplies for one child to complete each activity.
IS MY 3 YEAR OLD TOO YOUNG FOR THIS PROGRAM?
You will be surprised at how much a 3-year-old can do! Our test classes are made up of 3-year-old groups, so we know it is possible for this age group to complete the projects. To decide if the Semester Set is right for your child, assess if your 3-year-old can focus and follow some instructions, and is interested in building or creative work. The Cooking Set is also a great place to start!
I HAVE A FAMILY WITH MULTIPLE AGES. HOW CAN I BEST IMPLEMENT THIS PROGRAM FOR MY CHILDREN?
To get started, you will need to purchase one Teacher Set, which comes with the complete curriculum and all necessary supplies for the first child. You will also need one Student Set for each additional child. We offer a sibling discount for orders of two or more Student Sets!
It is not recommended for children to share a kit because the kits are designed for each child to create one, unique finished project (i.e., there is only one bear skin per kit, so only one child will be able to keep the bear).
These projects are ideal for group settings. Some activities may require a higher level of dexterity. For these steps, you can either have your older children work together so you can dedicate more time to your younger child, or you can have the oldest sibling do some steps first and then assist the younger child. The curriculum is designed to be flexible!
